Dave – Engineering
When
Dave left school he completed an apprenticeship in Engineering
in the Automotive industry. After working in this field
for 9 years went on to complete a teaching degree and
then lectured in Mechanical and Production Engineering
in a further education college for 15 years. After 35
years working on bikes part time in 2006 branched
out and started in business repairing, restoring, servicing
British Motorcycles.
Dave – Bikes
Started
at the age of 16 with an NSU quickly! (This was his
first Engine & gearbox rebuild aided by his father
who had spent WW2 in India as maintenance ground crew
for the RAF) and soon progressed through BSAs Matchlesses
Truimphs and Nortons including the Mk 1 850 Norton Commando,
which he still owns today after 28 years. Also has modern
Triumph Trophy 1200.
